    Hi.

I know very little about cars, hence this question.
    Based in Dublin.
I think my clutch could be screwed. Have a hard time getting up hills
and taking off from a stationary position.
How much would it cost to get fixed?
    2003 Yaris
Is it worth getting fixed, as I plan to get a new car later in the year?
    (maybe get new car sooner?)

    Thanks.

When you say difficult getting up hills I presume the engine is revving high but car is going slow. If so then its a clutch problem. If that is so, it will stop sooner than later and will require to be towed.

Usually around €400 give or take to get a clutch done. If it's slipping already then it'll shortly give out altogether and you'll end up stranded.

You either need to fix the clutch now or change the car now. The clutch is on its last legs and will fail soon, you don't want to be far from home when it does.
