Our ceilings are 2.7 meters high. What would be a good size skirting board , any opinions? I saw one that was 220 mm but that would mean the rad would be very high off the floor!

Is it a traditional or contemporary look you want, what height are the doors

The doors are standard height. We like the tall skirting boards , wouldn't he rad still be an imch higher than say a 220 mm skirting?

Stick with 150mm, the ceiling isn't so high it'll be noticeable.

    125/150
    Keep the detail simple
Do a mock up of the door architrave to skirting before you start

Have you the plumbing and rads installed?

You can have pipework coming from the wall?

    More work, but easier sweeping

Are the heating pipes coming out of the wall or up from the floor, will you be painting the skirting. If you have high skirting will you need wide architrave to match
