Badly recorded prompts on landline network ?!

    Can I just ask what's going on with the voice messaging on the landline system? It sounds very amateur.

    All of a sudden when I call and get the "the person you are calling is using Eircom call waiting" the polished voice branding is gone and if just sounds like a badly recorded voicemail message.

    Meanwhile the voice mail system now has a British accent.

    I know it's minor but you spent a fortune on your rebrand and then seem to be letting all the little details fall by the wayside.

    It doesn't really lend to an image of being a serious telco when you sound like a cheap VoIP operator using home brew equipment.

    To change your landline voicemail greeting please follow the below steps.

    - Lift the receiver and dial 171,
    - When prompted, enter your password and press #,
    - Press 4 for Personal Options,
    - Press 3 for Greeting,
    - Follow the spoken prompts.
