    Hi,

Can a Sky Viewing Card (Sky+) be used on a different sky+ box in a different property?

Yes - But it must be paired with the new (i.e. "different") box.

Different property then no, unless there's an existing Sky sub being transferred also i.e. moving house.

OP needs to confirm if it's an active sub or not

Thanks, it was to use in a holiday home which has a sky subscription and will continue to have but also a Racing TV subscription (31e a month) which I pay on my primary home but would use only occasionally in the holiday home. The Racing TV subscription is done via the Sky Card Number so I was thinking of taking the Sky Card from my primary home and replacing the one in the holiday home for the duration of stay before returning it to primary home. Home this makes sense.

If you're taking the card, why not take the whole box on holiday as well?
    (then no need to pair)

If I recall correctly, then the base channels such RTE, etc, will work with any card in any box, but for the premium channels such as sports etc. the card and box must be paired.
It was at least this way some years back when I was is into sat as a hobby.

The pairing itself can be done pretty easily online though as far as I know via the Sky website. You would of course need to pair it back then again afterwards.

That said, from a legal perspective you may well be breaking the T&C's of your contract!

I think the original query has been answered, any discussion involving breaking Sky T&Cs isn’t allowed
