Seiko 7S26-0540 Band Replacement

Hi all, just found this forum the other day (when looking up info on watches after my 2 Seiko's had to go to the Jewellers) and am fascinated by the beautiful watches you are all sharing, have a Certina DS Podium as my weekend watch, will post photo later today in the correct thread.

I've got a question regarding a watch owned by my dad, a Seiko 7S26-0540 which is a Kinetic one but the gold strap has badly tarnished.

Does anyone know where I might get a strap similar to the one that is on it, he loves this watch and would love to sort it out for him.

First thing I found was a used non-working watch which (I believe) has the same bracelet, in seemingly good condition. Don't order without getting a second opinion that the bracelet will fit.

The 0540 case uses a straight end-link so if you cannot find the exact Seiko replacment bracelet you still have a lot of options for gold bracelets that fit well. Alternatively you could just get a nice leather strap.

I believe it is 17mm lug-to-lug but please measure it yourself to be sure.
