Downloadable movies from the likes of Sky, iTunes, Prime and Google for decent prices - €2.99-€3.99. Sky seems to have the best selection, mostly at €3.99, but I did get The Death of Stalin for €2.99 on iTunes...

    It runs 21-27 January.

When you say downloadable do you mean a permanent license to access the movie or a rental type license?

It's download to own. The buy option is cheaper than the rent option.

hmm ... wonder would this work for buying movies using mobile credit on Play Store? Or is it UK-only?

Don't know about the Play Store, but I've bought a couple of movies on both the Sky Store and iTunes and the prices were in Euro and there were no payment issues with my Irish credit card.

Looks like Google aren't participating; link seems dead, nothing in the app. Maybe UK only for them?

Its working for me. Theres no promotion as much on the homepage but if you click into 4K HDR movies (eg. The Greatest Showman) its much cheaper to buy than it is to rent.

With a little work-around, you can get a digital copy of A Quiet Place for 99c

Buy the BluRay from SkyStore for €9.99. Comes with a digital copy for all devices including Sky Box

Trade the BluRay in to Cex, currently offering €9 credit (€6 cash)

May be others but that was the one to catch my eye

I don't think you are set up in the Irish store if you can see the 4K option, 4K menu is new enough in the UK store and not at all in the Irish one yet.

The following link should give you a list of all movies on google play to buy for under €5 (just dont expect anything good)

    https://www.justwatch.com/ie/provider/google-play-movies?monetization_types=buy&max_price=5

Seems to work well from what i've seen. Can customize the filter and it works with other sites.

Youre right. I was on the UK version. Forgot I was on my work VPN which defaults to the UK.

Traded in a few 4k films I had on Blu Ray for 44 euros yesterday,

Went and got a Itunes gift card for 40 euros.

Now own 10 new films in 4K for my Apple TV. Compare to buying them on 4K Blu Ray I have saved about 15 euros a film so in total 150 euros saved. That has paid for my Apple TV (Well to be fair got it off the girlfriend for xmess)

Hope we keep getting more and more sales like this now, As I would not even go looking for films if I can just buy them for 3.50 each in 4K HDR.
