Something Tripping Power

    how do you find what's tripping the power ?

    is it simply a process of elimination ?

    i turn on my emersion for hot water and in like 10 mins something trips the power off

    do i need to unplug everything and one by one plus them all back in ?

    You can turn off different circuits in your fuseboard by flipping the RCDs / RCBOs.

    Sounds like your immersion is gone. You may get more help in the electrics sub forum but will likely be advised to get a registered electrician in to have a look.

    Start with the immersion.

    Knock off all mcbs on the board except the immersion, runnit as described above and if it trips your immersion is the problem.

    If it doesn’t you can try bringing on each circuit one by one.

    However, based on your question I’d say get a registered spark in, safest thing.
