I have seen runflats online that I like, I need 2 at €78 a corner. Same tyre from any outlet in Galway is minimum €100 a corner, so a €44 saving.

    Hankook Ventus S1 Evo

Any recommendations for a fitter in Galway for say €10 a corner? Anything more and it wont really be worthwhile.

Thanks. E15 a corner seems to be the norm. Saving per corner by buying online is E22 a corner, so not sure its worth the hassle for a small saving

Alot of places charge a bit extra to fit run flats over standard tyres.

While on the topic of tyres, just how important are grip and fuel efficiency ratings in real world driving, supposing that you are going with a mid range decent brand tyre

Magazines and reviewers make their money from writing tests and compiling tables, but really, in the real world, you will never see any difference.

If you’re around the knocknarra area, the service station near the spinnaker should do them for you

Another recommendation here for Francis. He’s open in the evenings so particularly handy if you’re working
