    WHAT!!!!! I've just been listening to Newstalk radio. You don't have to take a break from the pill every month.

    I am not impressed that I am only learning about this now. Anyone else annoyed that because of the Pope you've had to have a monthly horror show until now?!?

    You never needed to take a break.

    They only put that on the pack because women got freaked out they missed their periods.

    I've the coil, lasts for five years and no periods at all! Couldn't be dealing with the pill and all the side effects.

    I went on the pill when I was 18 (11 years ago) and my gp said not to bother taking a week break if I don't want to. Don't know why everyone suddenly thinks this is new news! :confused:
