Anyone purchase a Intel I5 9600K recently

Looking to purchase one myself and ebay.com(€200) seems the cheapest, however I'm wondering if anywhere else is cheaper(or low shipping). Thanks.

I'm not seeing it for less than €265 in Europe.

Since you said eBay.com I'd check the import tax first.
Also IIRC by buying from outside EU you wouldn't have the same consumer protections if anything goes wrong.

There is a seller on ebay.com(probably USA seller), with very high rating. Import tax shouldn't be anymore than €65 which would bring it in line with Euro prices. Maybe I can set it shipped to UK through Parcel Motel.

€200 possibly from Asia. May or may not get hit for customs, depending....but I'd agree it's just easier for many reasons to just buy locally.

The 9600K is a much better gaming CPU at stock and overclocks handily enough to around 4.8Ghz, which further sets it apart. If you don't have a 144hz monitor, there's not really any reason to take it over the 2600 though.

I went from a 2700X to a 9600K for that reason.

Sticking with Intel, as I mightn’t have too many problems when changing drives, and Windows backup should be okay. Also, getting a free motherboard from a mate which is Intel.
