Stadium bans?

I see today that goose who abused Zebo has been banned for life from Ulster games. With this happening a few times lately over in the Premier league I always wondered if it's feasible to enforce these bans or is it just lip service. Is every face monitored in these stadiums to the point where they would be recognised going in especially as a lot of people wear hats to these games? Surely if these people really wanted to go to a game they could.

I've seen people checking and removing before, at Tallaght and in Europe. The thing is those who are banned aren't usually the kind to try keeping their heads down in the long run

    Plastic surgery.

Indeed. Massive boobs should cause a decent distraction.

I'd imagine it amounts to little more than not letting that person buy a ticket in their own name.

Unless a steward or something recognises them in the ground.

It generally means they cant buy a ticket directly from the club or the stadium

In Italy every ticket is associated with the person's account so it would be pretty easy to do over there.

Fair play to Zebo for overcoming all the disadvantages coming from Cork pose.

They only really work for extremely well known trouble makers. If you kept your head down for a year or two and doesn't draw attention to yourself, you'd be back in the ground without problem. Depends on the attendances.

Shamrock Rovers tend to turn a blind eye to their banned fans after a game or two.

Sure they'd have no home support otherwise.

Great as it is to see the racist idiot caught and banned, why did Ulster feel the need to apologise.

It wasn't them who called Zebo a #((##, they can't control was a random member of the public says.
