iOS 12.1.1/2 Gps issues

Guys, I updated my iPhone 6 to IOS 12.1 but my gps is all over the place, google maps especially is a problem, I have tried Waze just to rule Maps out but the issue remains. Has anyone else had any similar issues and is there any quick fixes? I have tried any recommendations online Any help is great appreciated

Is the phone in a case? Do you have a magnetic holder?
