Can someone recommend a cheap ip outdoor camera for remote monitoring

Am looking for a cheapish outdoor ip camera preferably one that works with Alexia. Both my father in law and his wife have moved into a nursing home so need something that I could use to remotely monitor their property. Am thinking of a 2 camera setup , there’s power and WiFi available at there home. Thanks in advance

Don't get the one Lidl's selling right now. The software (at least, the android app) doesn't work right; won't let you set up 'triggers' to email alerts to an account.

It's this one: silvercrest ip cam s-k 1920

It *is* cheap but its only good for monitoring who goes by, you can't enable the automatic recording as far as I can tell.

If you know anyone that has gotten it working, that'd be great. I currently have queries in to LIDL and the developer, with little expectation I'll hear anything at all.

It may be the thing only works with IOS and the documentation's crap. Don't have an Iphone to test it with however.

Also the indoor ones at just £18 are a steal and are great:

Guys - can you get those Yi cameras to display on a google home hub/ lenovo smart display etc, or is it just the Yi App ?

I have one of these and it is fantastic (for the price). Unfortunately they're no longer available.

Seems to be a bug with OnePlus phones, folks with that phone having similar issues with Nest cameras.
