How long does post take from America to Ireland

I ordered from an online shop in America on the 5th of January. It's just a small item related to my hobby. I couldn't find it online here in Ireland or the UK or within Europe - online shopping on German, french, Italian, Spanish sites - using Google chrome for the language barrier.

The only place I could find it was in America. My order came with a tracking number. It was dispatched on the 6th of January. Received into a postal hub in Florida after that. Item was forwarded to destination country on the 10th of January.

There's been no further updates on the tracking since then.

If it went by the cheapest possible routing, it could take quite a while.

Also bear in mind, depending on what it is, it could well get stopped by the carrier to collect tariffs and VAT.

    Hi O.P.
I ordered a hoodie before Black Friday. The package arrived at the DHL hub in Chicago on 7th of December. Arrived in Ireland around 7th January ish.
