Annual Leave Entitlement

My contract (Full time 32 hours per week) is up at the end of the month. It was extended in December for 4 weeks, which means I finish the last day in Jan. I received 16 annual leave days for last year, but am I right in saying I'm entitled to another annual leave day/ 1.5 days in the 4 weeks of January?

You're entitled to annual leave based on the hours/days you work, so yeah you should be entitled to 1/12 of a year's worth of annual leave for doing a month's work.

Edit: Easiest solution is to politely contact your employer's HR or equivalent and ask them how they want to handle your leave entitlement for the additional month you're working in 2019.

So 32 hours per week is 1 and a half days?

I will, but it's a small office and HR isn't in every day. Would rather know my entitlements before approaching them
