    Hi all,

I have a Audi A6 2013. It needs a full service and timing belt replacement.

So left car in a garage near work today.

Anyway, the full service includes replacement of fuel and air filter and this comes to approx €300.

    Timing belt is €450.

I was also advised that one of the brake pad needs to be replaced. (€150)
And the alternator tensioner needs replacement. (€40)

    All come to €940.

    Does this seem reasonable?

    Thanks

Yeah, I thought the cost of the full service seems very high. But the rest of the stuff seems ok.

Fuel filter and pads are definitely off the wall, unless u went to Audi main dealers ( stealers)

For reference Audi main dealer fixed price servicing for a 2.0 tdi 177bhp A6 is
Full service €359 includes oil, fuel and pollen filters.
    Tbelt change €499
    Front or rear brakes €185
Altenator belt tensioner I don't know.

Your garage is just 14% cheaper than a main dealer , if they didn't use genuine Audi parts i'd say the prices you are being charged are at the high end. What brand oil did they use for your service? Did the full service include pollen filter?
