I want to start building out my collection this year. I haven't been too involved in collecting and want to change that.

I have read a few things here and there but would love some input and suggestions.

I have read some DC comics, mainly Batman (Hush, Batman and Robin All Stars) and some Marvel as well (Carnage and Squirrel girl).

What are some must reads that you all love? I am big into character development and darker story lines.
