Could not think of a better thread title.

I'm looking to buy a house and looking at different properties in different locations, a lot of housing estates. In most cases I want to see the plans of the property.
I know I can view planning applications on the local county council websites for new and past individual applications / amendments, but nowhere can I find for example the plans for a house that was built as part of an estate, i.e. built as part of a bulk application.

Can anyone advise where I should be searching?

The relevant LA Planning website, ePlan or map search, find property/estate, click on view documents and there it is...
Note a lot of developments pre-2006 are not uploaded to view.

Most will allow to view jpeg but you may need to download DjVu

Looks like the pre 2006 plans are sometimes not uploaded - yes sometimes for individual applications, and not often for estates. This is a lot of the time the years I am looking for, 2000-2006 year built houses. I searched for newer developments and found the info I expected, like applications from "XYZ construction LTD, 22 houses"

What is the map search, is that main/front page of http://www.eplanning.ie/ you mean or something else?

Pre 2006 there was some privacy data that cannot be changed. Only apps after this are online.

Everything pre 2006 can be requested from the council planning counter. They may have them in house or if they are in archive then there’s usually a fee to retrieve them, normally €50.
