Intel NUC Hades Canyon or Other for image editing + light gaming

    Hi all

Currently looking to buy a new laptop or pc or Mac.

Primarily for media editing, some 4k video editing and light gaming (im mostly on consoles)

Had a look at the barebones set up of the NUC Hades and it looks tidy enough to be in the living room.

Thought of an iMac as it's an obvious choice for editing but insanely over priced (or is it for longevity?).

I looked at the Microsoft surface book 2 and also Huawei MateBook Pro X

However I'd like to keep to €1k or a bit more as the tech ages so quickly at times but I suppose I could go higher for a more future proofed set up, although nothing lasts forever :)

Has anyone experience with the NuC?

Id build in a heartbeat but I'm not sure I want a massive gaming pc in the house, purely size and aesthetics.

    Anything I've overlooked?

    Thanks in advance folks.
