Any ideas in the following....my trusty db getting v temperamental these days....starts first pick.
But when pull throttle leaver takes few seconds to rev up...when putting into gear its moves off slowly at first before gaining momentum...
To clear the issue I drain the glass bowel while tractor running & then its back to full instant power for few days till its slips back into slow momentum mode...
New filters, diesel tank cleaned, plenty diesel flowing....is it a seal in pump or something gone wrong? Breaking heart giving in silage when tractor like that.

Where the diesel line goes into the end of the pump, take a look and see if there is a little gauze filter within the end of the pump. There is on some models.

The diaphragm in the fuel lift pump used to get porous in some of those. But if that's the case there would be diesel leaking through the tiny drain hole in the bottom (unless the hole is clogged with dirt)
