    Hi
Looking for some advice and help if I can get some as I'm going mad at present. So I sold my superb and need a replacement. cant do a commercial pick up etc.
looking for a diesel 4x4 as I;m doing 25.000 miles a year and spending more time off road at the weekends, I have 20,000 cash as a budget.
was looking at a Mitsubishi outlander but struggling to find a 2015 in budget except this:

Has anyone any experience of this company?I spoke to the sales guy price is the price nothing off the price. both drove ok but would prefer the automatic.
Are there any good 4x4's that people can recommend that I'm missing.
would like to stay at or younger than 2015
looking for guidance or any help you guys can help.
    Cheers in advance

A Renault Koloes mk 1 was quiet could off road and could be worth a look It would have to be a 2014 one do as the new one came out in 15. They should be in the price too if you can find one. A Suzuki Vitara maybe. You could get a Dacia Duster either and maybe brand new.

    Live long and Prosper

    Peace and long life.

What sort of offroading will you be doing?

    Hi Amkc
I must have a look at the Renault. Should have added that I was looking for something big as I'm 6ft and wide too. Don't like the Dacias and thought the Vitara was too small.
    Hi Colm_mcm
I spend time wild camping and in and out of forests with archery. The daily roads for my commute and job are in the country and mostly bog roads or small hilly twisty roads. As soon as there is a a good freeze or snow I'm stuck on my road and cannot get out and the council doesn't clear it so would be nice to be mobile in the bad weather too
    Cheers

Any reason for the age being young. I'd be more concerned with mileage and history. Haven't looked at 4x4s in a while, must check out what's about. 20k sounds like na nice sized budget

One of these? Not so many in 4x4, but they are surprisingly good off road ( depending on tyres)

    How about this ?

    https://www.donedeal.ie/cars-for-sale/volvo-xc60-2-0-d4-se-190bhp-automatic-model-fu/20782683

I know the mileage is a bit high and Volvo are not cheap to fix if they give trouble....but on the flip side they don't really give much trouble and are lovely cars to drive and spend time in.

other than that ..I guess the Outlander's that you already were looking at or a new Duster. Another option maybe a used Quashquai/X-Trail/Tuscon/Sportage/Mokka etc (but rare to come accross a 4x4 version of any of these unless you go to UK)

Have you looked at the north? Might work out well with outlander, presumably low enough emissions?

Actually if you find the Dacia and Vitara to small you would properly find the same with the Renault that's if you could find one.

I think a Kia Sorento or a Hyundai Santa Fe are your best options. Both are good off road too.
