We would like to go on a Sun holiday with our 2yr old. Maybe there is someone out there that can help with to recommend somewhere. Our wish list is
-less than 3hour flight time so maybe somewhere in Portugal or Spain
    -property with two bedrooms
-playground on site or walking distance
    -children’s pool
-pool slides would be a bonus
    -near to the beach
    -nice restaurants nearby
-no interest in putting my daughter into a Creche/kids club but where we were last year you could use the kids club building and they had some toys, pictures to draw etc a play with something like that would be ideal

Maybe you have stayed somewhere that your toddler loved that you could recommend

Went Lake Garda 2017 with a 1 year old and 3 year at the time and stayed in Peschiera at Home, which is an owner occupied block of flats. Beside Aldi, bakery across the road amd 10 min walk to Peschiera Del Garda centre. Loads of restaurants, would recommend having a car as plenty of day trips in easy reach. Verona, Venice . 1hr 45 from Milan. Went to Campsite outside Cambrils last year. Would highly recommend also. You can book through Kelair, numerous pools with slides, bakery, supermarket ,beach and evening entertainment for kids. Place is full of playgrounds. Will look up the name later. Fairly cheap and 20 mins from Reus airport

The place in Cambrils sounds like something we might be interested in so it would be great if you could think of the name of it. I was googling there and wondering if you might be talking about Playa Montroig

Eurocamp and the likes have several campsites along the Costa Dorada. Can't comment on pricing if it was Playa Montroig.

Sanguli & Cambrils Park are very popular parks inbetween Cambrils & Salou but IMO are mental money.

Last year we went to Salou & stayed in Camping La Siesta. Lots of pools including slides & toddler splash pool, playground, kids club & kids club building, bar, restaurant, takeaway & beautiful grounds all within a few minutes walk of the beach & the town centre.

We booked direct with the site. Flights with Ryanair. Coach transfer leaves you a 5 minute walk from reception.

How random my sister went to Camping La Siesta and recommended it to us too so that might be a winner. It is very reasonable in early summer not so much in July but might just consider going a bit earlier

Thank you both for the suggestions

Can also highly recommend cambrils park. Fantasticly safe, elephant pool perfect for a two year old. Flights into reus are expensive this year though. As is accomodation in cambrils. I would recommend the villa bonita to you. Lots of space and fab comfortable rattan furniture outside to relax at when your baby is in bed. We're going to El Delfin Verde this year. Similar to Cambrils but less expensive. More remote but more choice of restaurants on site and it's on a beach.

Ya Playa Montroig is the spot. Kids loved it , playgrounds everywhere, day trip to Tarragona is also very good. Only a short drive from Cambrils and Salou.
