    Hi,
ESB is taking our meater readings. I have airtricity connection. We requested a switchover to day and night reading on Septmber. It was 24hr set up. ESb man did it and he noted that he reset the meter's day and night reading to 0s. But he didn't do it actually. As a result we got a huge electricity bill on October. We had moved to theis new house on February. We got all the readings from the beginning to September and a huge bill. We complained this to Airtricty, but they say esb said like this. What should we do. See how ESB technicians are doing such injustices and corruptions in Ireland.

Will we get justice? We usually have only 120 euros bill in a month because it is a new house and airpump used for heating. Now we got 1500 euros for one month.

    Hi vimalandrew,

Thank you for getting in touch.

ESB Networks maintain the electricity network and read the meter for all electricity suppliers, including Electric Ireland and Airtricity. Electric Ireland are an billing company and are separate company to ESB Networks. As such, we are unable to assist you with your query. This is a matter between yourself, ESB Networks and Airtricity.

You can find contact details for ESB Networks here

    We hope this helps.

If you have any questions relating to Electric Ireland, please don't hesitate to ask.

    Thanks,
    Aoife
