Just watched a video by Stefan Molyneaux on Ireland 2040. Worrying stuff.

    https://youtu.be/Qkl1xGTt9Sw

    He says that

    1. The Irish government expects to receive 1 million immigrants by 2040
    2. 1 in 4 children in Ireland born now are to non Irish mothers
    3. Ireland's over 65s will quadruple by 2040
    4. That 300 houses a week are required to house the 1000 immigrants arriving each week in Ireland (for which immigrant construction workers will be required to keep up with demand)
    5. That 50% of Immigrants live in Dublin as opposed to 33% of Irish citizens

I understand that Ireland will need to pay for the growing number of retirees etc but I think we will find out the hard way that this approach is not the answer.

Also, he points out that Ireland is already reducing its carbon footprint through its low birth rate.
