The EU is about to lose its primary English language population.

    So does that mean the lingua franca which moved from French to English over the last 40 years will shift back and result in a dedicated Franco-German based EU that will shunt the concerns of low corporation tax Ireland to the margins? By being politically "good Europeans" but shoddy speaker of languages and with a culture that is thoroughly Atlantic are we about to end up on the periphery without our best EU friend?
