why would this land be so cheap. is it that the timber is rubbish has no value then yiu have to replant ?

I'd say visit the site and have a look, there's bound to be a problem at that price, but you might be the lad with the solution. The timber is likely worth the purchase price even if all only fit for pulp.

the typo's do not inspire confidence, citrus spruce indeed.

If that be the case why doesn't the owner then just sell the wood ? its still strange

Looking in at it through Google Streetview, it looks very small for Sitka that's supposed to be 25/26 years old.
Bing Maps (https://www.bing.com/maps) has a much higher resolution satellite image, and it all looks pretty thin and patchy.
It appears to be attached to a nursery business, I'm wondering if it was perhaps a Christmas tree farm that got away?

    Edited to add:
The above is nonsense, please disregard!
The Google Streetview is 7/8 years old, so the trees would have been about 18 years old at the time.

They still look a bit small to me though, even for that age :)

The streetview images are from 2011 (bottom right of the pictures), the satellite pics are 2019
