Making several offers to one EA

    Hi,

We have been going to the viewings over the past couple of weeks. There is one particular EA that has three or four properties soon we would like to make offers on. The asking prices vary +- 30k so our offers would differ slightly too. They all are in the same area and thick all our boxes so we would be happy if we went sale agreed on any of them.

Does it make sense to make several offers to one EA on various properties or is it better to stick to one property and see whether it will go through before deciding on the second choice?

    Thanks,

You're in a great situation. Offers on all with a caveat that the first to accept* is the one you'll go with. The only issue you'll have is the EA will be wise to how much you can afford but I personally think this 'practice' of phantom bids is not as wide spread as people believe.

All other things being equal such as chains etc.
