I was advised the best time to spray it would be the spring just before the start of the big growth,as it was slow to take off in the autumn, what do you reckon?

Any idea what reason is for poor patch. Is the soil poor, hole dug there, rubble underground...
OR related to poor establishment and soil/seed contact

Rabbits or pests the likely reason unless there was something up with the machine that set it. Scatter some seed on that patch when it's warm enough

It was on a top of a hill.so maybe this would be a reason?

Would they not do the same again? I am talking about two acres in total, would you spray it in the spring?

Are there a lot of weeds in it? The weeds have to be actively growing in order to take in the spray. At current temps I'd say they are but with temps set to drop at the end of the week not sure if it would work as well it, it may do.

This is the thing the rest of it is flying it but this section is not, very little in it weeds or grass maybe it failed?

We sowed grass on a slope with a power harrow combination drill. Direction of travel was accross the slope. It emerged uneven as the drill was deeper on one side. I’d never use again on a slope.
