Done a grass measure about three weeks ago. I had an average farm cover on my grazing ground of 1000. I closed up the grazing ground in early October as i had a lot of grass on the silage ground. Looking in over the wall today i would sayi grew a nice bit of grass in the last few weeks. Its like the middle of April. Anyways i was thinking of grazing first in late feb or early march and urea then. FJ and teagasc don’t really go into grass covers they are just saying spread urea,

Seriously why wait till late Feb if you have the stock to start grazing now? Do you much pit sialge or all bales? Pit silage will keep over until next winter no bother if you don't use it this year.

I'd be inclined to graze it out before anything is spread on it, tbh. You're talking about covers over 1400 here?

If you can go with the tractor and spinner the stock can go out in it. Use strip wire and move them daily

That heavy stocking fairly destroys pand in wet weather and ruins the grass in the sward imo
