Hi looking for some buggy friendly family walk suggestions around Sligo. Apart from the usual Rosses point and strandhill walks are there many other options? Are any of the forest walks buggy friendly - slish wood / union wood / Benbulben?? TIA

    Try Hazelwood.

Slish, Union and the benbulben gortarowey walk are buggy friendly as long as its a good one with inflatable tyres. Dooney rock is nice but you can only get so far and turn back. Hazelwood is good. Doorly Park in town is nice, park either on JFK parade and follow the river or park in Cleveragh rec park and head towards the water. The new walk at Knocknarea is buggy friendly too- park in the original carpark and take the path that heads off to the right into the forest.
