I'm in the market for a new duvet and there is a massive selection available. Has anyone got any opinions on duck feathers v synthetic, or the best tog to get.

Also where would take an old one?

Goose Down are the best and most luxurious followed by duck down
You should check the % of down on the duvet if going that route.
I find with down duvets u don't need to change from winter to summer as they are always warm enough. Even during the summer I didn't find them too warm. Think its 13 tog.

It's the one thing I spent on and guests tend to comment on how cosy they are. I think I paid about 200 euros.

Some people have allergies to the feathers in which case there are good synthetics.

I wonder if there are any duvet experts out there.

I wanted to buy 2 feather duvets.

I might go with all season ones.

    However the prices vary greatly.

Home store and more selling for just 25EUR while MS, Next and the likes, or 90 and more..Arnotts would cost 170 +

Anyone knows whats the diffetence in quality? Also anyone tested Goose vs Duck?
