Microsoft's inane and stupid 'News'feed

Every time I login to my computer (Windows 10), a 'News'feed appears with inane and stupid stories about someone called Megan, and what she wore last night, and about another rather ugly looking woman called Amy Hooverman, and her latest (boring) film.

How do I turn this drivel off? I have clicked on 'Hide' numerous times, but it comes back.

    Thanks.

top right side of browser are 3 dots .
click this and from the resulting menu click settings

in the settings change the open edge with470283.JPG

change this to met.ie boards.ie or other website .

    no more bull...
    :)
