Say for 120hp tractor, is there any one, or more implements you could buy that would make a bit ok the side? Plenty of Balers etc out there.

Probably a decent direct drill for sowing grasseeds after spraying or hedgecutting. Both are simple one man operations

If you have gps, a decent spinner. A lot of lads get fellas in to spread fert every 3 to 4 weeks. If the course is done for spraying a sprayer could be got then as well. Neither implements would put much strain on the tractor or burn much diesel compare to others.

Can you advise of existing work this tractor does? Is there specific periods of year that machine is not being utilized? What are the type of enterprises around you that you could complement? Are there particular areas that interest you tillage vrs grass vrs dairy for example?

Ya your right. Well it’s mostly a grazing area. Lots of sucklers, dairy and sheep (in that order). Very little tillage. There is good contracting service around the area already regards silage and slurry. The tractor I mentioned just just general farm work, light work tbh. Was just a thought regards making a small bit of extra income that I said I’d throw out and see if anyone done anything along those lines

How about a wood chipper? The chips could make bedding for animals or gardens. 120hp would be loads to drive one.

Are they a lot of part time lads in your area?
    Sometimes lads are time poor...

If so - could you make a bit with existing machinery... topping or putting out fertiliser, or a post driver... A sprayer would bring some hassle, with certs and the like, but could be worth it...

I don’t think there is any one implement - nor is buying something hoping that people will ring the best plan either maybe... it’s more getting your name out there as someone to call when people need specific items done, using the items you already have a use for at home...

Some ideas below and some mentioned already. What is sparking you interest?

    Winter
    Hedge cutter
    Post knocker
    Wood splitter
    Livestock Trailer

    Summer
Grass direct seeder, einblock, moore drill
Fert spreader with crane so you are independent and don’t need loader
Grain bruiser for pitting caustic barley
    Ag-bagger for tube pitting
    Double bale handler
    Keltic bale mover
Bale wrapper with donkey engine and remote, loader and bale hands so can wrap and stack
    Zero grazer
Was gonna adf Silage wagon if not In your area already but complication would be mowing and raking
Rake for wilting silage... not a rowing rake
