I was carrying out a service recently on my nephews 151 Avensis D4D (2L)and had problems ascertaining the correct/acceptable oil.
I ended up using Lubex Viscus Ultra LA5W30 - found that it had ACEA C2 and C3 rating and Low Saps , which seemed to fit the bill
One of the factors knew about 0W20 - but said it was for Hybrids and was extremely thin.
In the handbook I noticed they mention 5W30 - so I went for the above.

Ok for main brand like castrol unless on its half price sale is like 37 plus and only 4ltr where as my engine requires 4.4ltrs so the toyota oil is 5ltr and 36euro so good value only cheap oil which is not always a good idea will beat price. I also have got better price on break parts off main dealer then motor factors aswell always worth a check. Mate has also had this also and pads coming with mounting clips as standard on most which is extra in motor factors

Get it from the main dealer. It won't be a lot more and you get the correct spec. Some of these motor factors don't know the exact oil so I would not go on their recommendations.

I get 4l from Honda of the exact oil you want for a bout 47 euro. Its castol AFAIK

Was in a motor factors today and noticed they had 0W20 and 0W30 on the shelf - made by Champion. Never saw this before - demand for it I presume.
It said it was long life oil.
