Hi, So need to finalize a home alarm for the end of the ,month.

Does any have any experience with <company who cannot be named>? Reviews online tend to be good and up to date despite their website been a bit out of date.

House has been rewired with the alarm in mind. Some quotes I've gotten are near the €1000 mark. Others around €600.

In peoples experiences, What is the going rate for alarms for a small house?

Have a search around the forum for them. Generally the cheaper the system is the more you are going to get tied into.
Also many of these cheap systems rely on internal PiR detection. Simply put, this means your alarm only activates AFTER an intruder gains entry. It's too late then. The damage is done and the burglar won't be leaving empty handed.
Shop around and get a few surveys done and get a proper written system proposal. This is also a requirement for the system to conform to the standards.

Plenty of users on here have given opinions of the after sales of them.

Best option is to check what you are getting compared to other companys.
Some are contacts and PIRs which in reality is giving you a false sense of security for the cost.
Perimeter protection, windows and doors with back up of PIRs would be the better option. Also means you can set your alarm at night knowing windows are covered.

Have a closer look at the reviews online about this company. Despite the high average grade there are more adverse reviews on this company than for most of their competitors. <snip>
