Hosting advice?

I must stress, I am not looking for recommendations or suggestions for a web host.

• I want to set up a personal website to advertise myself as a developer.
• I want to be able to create it possibly using a Python framework like Flask or Django
• I am currently learning REACT, so might create it using REACT
• I have no interest right now in PHP

What type of hosting am I looking for:
Personal Sites/Blogs, Business hosting...? I'm sure I'd need a database.
But most of all, the ability to install or avail of OpenSource Frameworks.

I'm inclined to think small Business option would give me the most amount of options?

I have code there but it only really processes html, css and js.

Get a virtual server from a provider like Linode.

Granted, it takes a bit of configuration, but you'll have your own linux server and can run whatever technology you want.

Have a look at serverless frameworks on AWS or Azure if you want to do something a little different.

If you're writing in React, that eventually becomes just html, css and js.

I've a couple of sites (example implementations of things) running through github, without any issue.

If you need a server-side process, like Python, github isn't an appropriate host.
