I currently have a Samsung S8 - it's working absolutely fine, but I'm due an upgrade with eir in the next month, and I'm either going to buy sim free and go to a better plan, or just pay the piper and upgrade.

    I'm currently looking at

Note 9 - 700/850 on Amazon - is there any reason not to go for the cheaper Dual Sim models on Amazon?

S9+ - 630/770 on Amazon - same question with regards to dual sim

    P20 Pro - 580 or so

Pixel 3 - 740 - seems a bit overpriced in comparison to others

    One Plus 6T - 521

Is there anything else similar spec to these?

Ideally, I'd like a bigger screen - I do like the Samsung screens, and I'm quite happy with the S8, bar maybe the battery life. I know there's not much between the S8 and the S9 so the S9+ bigger screen is really the only reason to upgrade, and I think I'd rather pay the extra for the Note 9.

If you did decide to upgrade I would wait the month or so for the S10.

Thanks. The upgrade isn't due until mid Feb officially, so I have time. :)

I'm a current s8 user coming up on 20 months and will be looking at the s10 as the likely replacement. I've seen a few decent competitors as of late, but if it has an underscreen fingerprint reader as rumoured, then I'm sold.

I'd get the Pixel 3 out of those but probably worth doing nothing until you see what the S10 is like.
