    Hi,

Hoping this is the right place. I purchased a domain on register365 back in August but would like to build and run the site on Wordpress. Is it possible to do a domain transfer easily?

    Thanks!

When you say run the site on WordPress are you referring to wordpress.com? Building a site on there is very limited, wordpress.com is their platform - you can't upload themes or plugins to use with your website and can only use the available WordPress themes. Wordpress.org is the alternative and allows you to download the CMS and install it on your own hosting and build your own website which you are in full control of, but obviously requires a bit more know how.

If you are building the website on wordpress.com then their support page has info on transferring your domain.

If you are building the website using WordPress then you need hosting to install and setup WordPress to then build your website on. You simply point your domain towards that hosting account so they are connected. The easiest option would be to login to your account where the domain is and purchase hosting there to go with it.

And if you get hosting as per above, it is quite likely that Wordpress will be available in some sort of easy install setup, with no need to download, install, etc.
