    Hi
I ordered a refurbished phone from a UK supplier online. Ive used this particular company before without issue. When I go into P2P (undoubtedly the worst courier company I have encountered) it says - ARRIVED IN COUNTRY / NON EU PRESENTED TO CUSTOMS. I know Brexit is looming but is this correct? Could I be obliged to pay customs on an item from the UK? ARe the alredy considered outside the EU??

Could it be the phone is coming from a 3rd party company/seller based outside the EU? Also could it be that the phone is coming from Jersey or some of the other channel islands? The would be also consider as been outside the UK for customs purpose.

It could also be they made a mistake by sending it to customs.

Thanks for your replies. From all appearances it looks like it was picked up in the UK but I will ask the seller seems to be UK based (Quick Fix Mobile). Your explanation would explain all the issues though. Ive used them a few times and had no bother up to now.

Customs may still inspect any item they want even if no VAT/DUTY would be applicable.
