Hi all be grateful for any help. I'm trying to figure out if the radio is the problem or the speakers. When I turn on the radio it's like it's not tuned in properly and there is a constant "out of tune" noise going on with the car. I have remover the radio to make sure all leads are good and tight and no problem with that. Is there any suggestions as to what to try next. I can't use the cd player as its never worked since I got it. Could it be the earth wire has become loose and if so where would I most likely find that or could it be somehow aerial related? Just to say the radio does pick up stations and displays their names on it etc

Most common reason for that is lack of good connection to the aerial, or if the car has a separate aerial amp that has an issue, that is the large cable that goes in the back of the head unit, but the issue could be at the aerial end or the amp in between.
