Room decorating company

Hi, anyone know of a good company that does decorating?

Looking to have wallpaper stripped, new plasterboard installed, whole room plastered, and new skirting boards and new ceiling arcitrave. Then painted, including the ceiling.

Are you looking to hire an interior design consultant to advise on colour schemes etc, or you know what you want and just need the labour to do it?

Not looking for design consultants or anything like that.

Just someone to do the work, which mostly involves plastering.

What size is the room and how much of the walls are covered in wallpaper?

Roughly 12 foot by 15 foot, and about 75% of the walls are papered.

Maybe, if I knew for sure what slabbing was.

Just looked it up, essentially you mean to put new plasterboard up over the old plasterboard & wallpaper and skim it (I think).

I don't think that would work as the reason I need the new plasterboard up is that the old plasterboard is coming away from the wall and cracking. It needs to be pulled down and new plasterboard put up.

I saw your original post on my phone this morning and it made me laugh. I see now you know what it means, the old slab will have to be removed if it is damaged but what I was steering you towards was not having to strip wallpaper.
