How long to receive wedding photos?

Hi,

For those of you have gotten married, how long was it before you received your wedding photos back from the photographer? We're coming close to 3 months married at this point & haven't yet seen a professional shot from the day

We got ours in 3 weeks. They gave us a timeline of 6-8 but overdelivered, possibly because we were a month before Christmas and they wanted to get all their weddings edited before the break maybe? Although I follow them on social and I think they get everything out around then. What does your contract say?

I'll have to dig the contract out to be sure, if I remember correctly it was 8-10 weeks so I'd be expecting them soon. I'm not worried about receiving them as they're a reputable photographer, just interested in hearing what other's experiences are!

We have a friend who got married around this time last year & she was shocked that we were expecting our photos within 3 months of our own wedding, so it appears it took their photographer a lot longer than that.

Got married last June. Got sent an email link to view our photos within 3 weeks and then it was up to us to select what we wanted for our album. That was the hard part but had album and everything within the 3 months

We got an app sent to us with some of the photos within 2 months. Got a memory stick with everything on with at about 3 months and gad our wedding album back at about 4 months.

Surely the easiest thing to do is contact the photographer and ask?

We got link to all ours a week after the wedding and a USB key two weeks after (arrived before we even got back from honeymoon).
