I'm looking online and I see an offer for Broadband + Landline for €34.99 a month for 12 months. https://www.eir.ie/bundles/

When I check the Fibre to the home section it says get Irelands fastest Broadband from €45.99 per month. https://www.eir.ie/broadband/1000mb-fibre/

I also see a bundle being advertised for 150mb Ultra fibre , Eir talk and sports for €40.99.

However, if I click "Get this Bundle" on any of these offers it brings me to a checkout where I am being charged €65.99 per month?

I'm in the process of moving my BB, TV and Two Mobiles from Eir to Vodafone, there is a last-gasp opportunity to keep me as a customer but I don't understand why I can't avail of any of the offers being advertised.

I guess no one at Eir cares enough to keep a €180 per month customer, it's off to Vodafone so.

Hi Grumpypants,

I'm sorry that you are having difficulty with this online. The offers on our website are currently for new customers.

I suggest that you contact our Sales department on 1800 503 303, where you will find an agent happy to help with your query.

And now I'm in the dreaded Eir loop.
• No those great offers are for new customers, not the suckers that are already paying us.
• I'll cancel so and move to a different company if I can't get that offer.
• You need to call this number to cancel 1800 504 110 https://www.eir.ie/switching/#switching-phone  ;
• I call the number, someone picks up after 1 ring, I think "brilliant maybe things have changed with Eir customer support".
• I'd like to give my 30 days notice to cancel because I can't update to the new offers.
• Oh, you are through to sales you need to ring cancellations.
• Weird I rang the number you have listed on the website to call when switching 1800 504 110 https://www.eir.ie/switching/#switching-phone
• Sorry about that I'll put you through.
• On hold, listening to music for a long time...beep beep beep we are having trouble connecting you, remember you can talk to an online agent.
• Chat with an agent online
• Oh, I can't help you online you need to call 1800 504 110.
• 1 Ring "hello sales"!

I do apologise about this Grumpypants, I completely understand your frustration.

My best advice would be to contact a member of the Sales department on 1800 503 303 or our Customer Care department on 1901 they will be able to get you through to the relevant department. Alternatively, you could send a letter to notify us of cancellation. If you wish to do so you can find the address for the letter by clicking here.

Started a chat to ask if I there was any loyalty offer to keep the account with Eir. I was told " you can get the prices you are paying now". Ring 1901 to talk about lower prices. Stuck on hold again now!!
