Hi I am hoping someone can advice me here. suppose you had set up your gmail address years ago using your phone no. then two things happened. 1. your had to get a new sim card for Ireland (returning from the US) so therefore you got an new phone number. 2 someone advised to do factory reset on the phone as it didn't seem…

Now I need to set up gmail again (and whats app) but I dont know if I can use the new number or will I have to stick with the original US phone number. can anyone advise

Im not sure i follow you completely but if you login to your emails using your password you can change the number attached to it.

Whatsapp can be transferred from one number to another but have not done it before, so cant advise there.
