Safe method of receiving money from EU

    Hi,

I would very much appreciate the advice of someone who's knowledgeable in this.

I'm about to sell 2 tickets for a concert that will take place in Ireland. The buyers are not based in Ireland and we can't meet up before/on the day of the concert.

Would It be safe if they sent me the payment in the form of a bank draft? Would there be a possibility they could pretend they did not receive the tickets and then get their money back as well as keeping my tickets? I appreciate that most people are honest but I'm trying to be cautious.

If anyone has any advice or guidance, please send it my way.
    Thanks guys!

PayPal for the money and recorded delivery (eg registered post) for tickets.

If you are the one receiving the money then get them to do a bank transfer. That is the safest method for you. Of course it is also the least safe method for you. As an alternative get them to send the money via paypal BUT get them to send it as friends & family not as payment for goods.
