I know they do swimming classes for adults in the National Aquatic Centre, I'm not sure if they do one on one classes though.

One evening at Coolmine I saw a child getting private lessons during the open swim session.
They might be able to arrange a private adult swim.

I've seen people been given private swimming lesson in Westmanstown (Crunch) GYM. Nice pool too, doesn't seem to be busy.

Just to slightly hijack the thread - can you just walk in and pay to have a swim in these places? Two adults & a child.

Aura de Paul on the Navan has open swims fairly regularly, check their website out

In Coolmine you can do this for the "Family" swim times. See: http://coolminesports.ie/swimming-times/
I think it's 4 euro for an adult and 3 for a child. 30 cent for a locker token.
