Tractor Paint Advice Needed

    Hi all,

in the process of carrying out a quick tidy up on my 1960 Fordson Dexta. It's not a full restoration, as she's still called on to do a days work when a small tractor is needed. As I'm going to the trouble of repairing/replacing missing tin work, I'm going to give it a full re spray. I was in the local New Holland dealers on Friday and picked up cans of the Q-part paint. However, reading the labels, I can't figure out what type of paint it is, i.e. enamel, cellulose, 2k etc. I bought some primer and thinners in there as well, but I know I can get it much cheaper elsewhere in bulk. I just want to be sure it won't react. Also, does anyone know a good source of used tractor tyres around mid Cork? Given how little work it does, I don't think it's worth buying new ones to replace the perished ones fitted.

    Regards,
    Dave

Sorry I can’t give you much advice on paint but as for second hand Tyres Anderson’s in Rosscarbery would be a good bet
