So I’m having this issue with my water. Please see attached pic.

The water used to heat for 4 hours at night but it no longer does .

The only way it will now hear isto use the boost button.

The light comes on for the 4 hours but nothing happens .

Any idea what might be wrong ?

Is there a new system I can get as I don’t really want to heat water for 4 hours at times. I also don’t like this system .

    That's an old timer.
The timer function could have failed /burnt out.

    Or

One of elements has failed /burnt out. The boost button sends power to the top element & this element is working fine. The timer works the bottom element so this could be burnt out.

An electrician or plumber should be able to test the timer & elements to find out which one has failed. If it's the element, you should replace both elements as the cylinder will need to be totally drained anyway. It would only cost a few euros extra for the 2nd element.
