    Hi,
Currently I'm employed in a great company as a (Be prepared for a meaningless title) European Global infrastructure specialist.
Basically my job spans a number of different areas.
Primarily I'm in charge of the below:
    CRM software and IVR Maintance
Oracle SME for Customer care, AR and some order and supply management management.

I really like my job however I'm fully aware that its a very specific role for this company. This means I'm very fearful of not being qualified for anything else.

Some background, I used to be in construction but since returning to Ireland and starting with this company I have progressed from CC specialist- CC assistant manager- CC Manager- to my current role. From day one however I've been involved with my current role in some capacity but it is only in the last 2 years that its been my permanent role.
As you can guess I have no actual experience or qualifications other than on the job training.
Right now I'm trying to figure out how I best prepare myself if I ever wanted to move. I enjoy what I do but I'm a bit unsure whether or not I'd like to do a deep dive on this sort of work.

So now that you have some background, is this course something that will allow me to develop in my current role or is there something else I should be look at.

Well done on getting where you are with no cert or experience.

I’m not hugely familiar with the roles your doing. But I take it they are not software support?
The Comptia is a handy enough exam for someone with your experience. There is no harm in doing it. But I’m not sure if it’s progress for you. It’s good to keep learning in IT.
Could you ask a colleague in terms of what they have studied?

    Thanks for the reply,
Your right its not primarily software based.

In terms of Colleagues, I'm the only remote worker on the team. The rest are based in the USA.
Its a small team of 6 people total including me. The team based in the USA cover different aspects of the US business (one for CC AR, one for Saleforce CRM, one for Aspect phone system, and one for inventory and order management)
4 of the team have no relevant qualifications however the person managing our Aspect system in the US has just joined us from a senior IT position in the company. He has taken the traditional route of a degree years ago.

Its a massive business in the USA but we are only about 1/10th the size in Europe which mean I do all those jobs but for Europe. In a way its great because I've exposure to so many areas of the business but again I dont specialize in anything. Jack of all master of none.

I'm leaning towards this course but I guess I was just wondering if I missed something else out there more relevant. Doesn't seem like it :)
