Golf GTI NCT emissions

    Hi Folks ,

    Just looking for some advice.
    My 2011 Golf GTI failed the NCT today for High Emissions .

    High Idle : Lambda 1.98
    Not between 0.97 and 1.03.

    This seems to be awfully high :confused: ?.
    Car was driven 20 mins to test center before hand.

    Booked in with the local mechanic for next weekend.
    Am i in serious Trouble ? .

    Assuming that car runs fine with no check engine light it can be as simple as a leaking exhaust.
